How to accelerate DevOps cycles and put customers first

During the BMC Exchange virtual event, a session showed how the Tampa General Hospital DevOps team made the bold decision to integrate workflow orchestration directly into the SDLC process to accelerate application development and services to move to production. Having spent much of my career in DevOps related roles, I can see the immediate benefits of integrating application data workflows on overall project progress and streamlining data pipelines. The more complete the orchestration built into DevOps, the greater the improvement in release cycle times. Comparing release cycles based on legacy development tools versus workflow orchestration contributions to DevOps can conservatively improve application and service cycle times by 3 times, based on my product management execution experiences for a large cloud service provider.
There is another important benefit to integrating orchestration instrumentation from the start in the SDLC. When an application or service is deployed to production, it already includes orchestration as code in the DevOps automation toolchain. It goes through the same process as business logic code and infrastructure as code.
